the promise given to Abraham

and Gentile understanding

Seed multiplication according to the promise given to Abraham for once Gentile aliens is without the necessity of a circumcision of the flesh AFTER the crucifixion and resurrection of the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth.  There are two forms of the Gentile witness in light of the appearing of Jesus in the heavens; one form is an 'estrangement' from the law of Moses, and the other form is a 'cleaving to' the house of Israel as to partake in some particulars of the holy covenant given to Israel on mount Sinai.  Both forms of the Gentile witness allot an entrance into the eternal city in the land of Israel; the issue becomes a matter of particulars, operation, and administration concerning land inheritance in the age to come.

and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.  GENESIS 12:3c

And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth : so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.  GENESIS 13:16

And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.  GENESIS 17:6

Gentile inheritance in the age to come rests upon God's righteousness found in the crucifixion of Christ Jesus.  Gentiles are called to receive the righteousness of God freely as obeying the gospel of the kingdom in baptism and communion in light of the Day of Christ.
