the Apostles' Faith and

the Apostles' Doctrine

And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be :  for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.  DEUTERONOMY 32:20

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship,  THE ACTS 2:42a

But they have not all obeyed the gospel.  For Esais saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

But I say, Have they not heard?  Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.  ROMANS 10:16,17,18

The apostles' faith is a specific faith that holds to a hope in the age to come; the hope of the cross of Jesus of Nazareth calls forth those into a longing for the return of the Messiah, Christ Jesus.  The apostles' faith stewards a 'right hope' in such a manner that the holy oil of God is kept in earthen vessels in God's righteousness and in God's holiness as to be ready and waiting for him upon his appearing in the heights of the heavens.  The covenant faith of the gospel has been one of holy pursuit, of holy love, for the King of Israel; whole-heartedness towards the God of Israel confirms the covenant hope of the gospel.

The apostles' doctrine consists of preserving a righteous entry into the heavenlies into the temple of the Father in the heights of the heavens, of keeping earthen vessels in a holy manner of life as to inherit eternal life in the age to come, and of giving a 'right witness' of godliness here on earth in this age in light of the great and terrible Day of the Lord.  Apostles' doctrine works with the apostles' faith to cause the light of God and the glory of God to shine forth in this present evil world.

The apostles' faith calls Israel to return to covenant faithfulness found in the crucifixion of her Messiah.  Jesus resurrected from his sepulchre and ascended into his Father's temple according to the covenant hope of the gospel of the kingdom.  His blood makes atonement for the transgressions of the holy covenant, hence making a way for Israel to return to her Messiah, the Son of God.
