the Adornment of the King
All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. PSALM 45:8
Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant? SOLOMON'S SONG 3:6
The end of this age solemn assemblies will send forth sweet incense before the throne of God as to adorn the King of glory with honour, glory, and praise. The prayers of the saints is the righteousness of God made manifest; the longing for the King of Israel to take his place in Jerusalem by the daughters of Jerusalem will cause the bride of God to enter into severe pangs for the love of her King.
Jesus of Nazareth will appear in the heavens in power and glory, and he is awaiting a people who will long for his return as to shower him with the worth he deserves; the worth he purchased on his cross will he receive in the coming first resurrection of the dead. In light of that day, their is a beckoning of nations to obey the everlasting gospel as to crown God with the glory that belongs to him.
The cross and the fear of the LORD go hand and hand : on one hand and on the other, both manifest God's righteousness, reveal the wrath of God to come, and God's desire to lose none. Disobedience is as hell, and obedience is as heaven -- both are awaiting the judgments of God : embrace the everlasting gospel and continue in God's grace, for the knowledge of the glory of God shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea, and he will have his way as to administrate his law from Zion into the 'sea of the nations' following the adornment of the King.
