Praise, Revival, and the Return of Jesus

GOD be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.  That thy way may be known upon the earth, thy saving health among all nations.  Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.  O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth.  Selah.  Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.  Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.  God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.  PSALM 67

Israel's plea for mercy at the end of this age is at the root of God's quarrel of the holy covenant; his answer is the blessing of the covenant.  His blessing in the age to come will bring the knowledge of God and saving health to all nations.

Praise going forth towards God manifests a hope for the righteous judgments and government of Christ Jesus' coming kingdom here on earth.

When Jesus returns to earth, the earth shall yield her increase according to his covenant with Israel, his firstborn nation.

Israel's covenant blessing shall cause the ends of the earth to fear God.  The knowledge of Jehovah's mercy will cover the earth, and the nations shall fear him.
