Light of Salvation to the Gentiles

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light : they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.  ISAIAH 9:2

I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;  ISAIAH 42:6

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people :  but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.  And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.  ISAIAH 60:1,2,3

The light of salvation going into gentile nations is a mysterious thing; God spoke light, and light came forth.  God's covenants throughout his testimony from the beginning are rooted in the one before such that God preserves his right of line and order.  The thing is, since Israel stumbled at the preaching of the Rock, now Gentiles are benefiting from their transgression.  Shall Gentiles boast?  I think not.  Jehovah continues in his covenants with Israel to this day; and he is faithful to each one of them.

Israel is called as a light to the Gentile nations; Jesus Christ is the firstfruits of a coming resurrection of the dead.  He became as one of his brethren that he may bring many sons unto glory.  Jesus is a part of Israel as he is a Jewish man, Jesus of Nazareth.  Israel's high calling in Christ Jesus is to be a light to the Gentile nations of the earth, as to instruct governments in the way of righteousness.

Today gentiles are receiving lights of glory from the Father in heaven through the blood of Messiah.  Those lights are like little lights of a greater light that will be revealed upon the appearing of Jesus Christ in the heights of the heavens.

The light of salvation to gentiles today imparts revelation of the knowledge of God through Christ Jesus.  God's light calls forth a longing for more light as to inherit eternal life in the age to come for gentiles who are receiving light in these present days.  The Light of God will come forth from Zion in the age to come in glory and power; the hope of salvation for Gentiles, in righteousness, is a restored city of Jerusalem and strengthened Jewish state with Jesus as King of Israel.

Covenant understanding of the gospel of the kingdom finds it's resting place in an established everlasting covenant in the land of Israel with the law of God going forth from Zion into gentile nations of the earth.  Christ manifests hope of a glory who's knowledge shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea when Christ brings his kingdom here to earth upon the great and terrible Day of the Lord.
