The Intent and Purpose

 of the Holy Ghost

 among Gentiles

And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.  JEREMIAH 12:16,17

The Holy Ghost bears witness to the resurrection of the jewish messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God.  His intent among the gentile nations of the earth is to testify to the redemption and reconciliation found in Christ Jesus as to call forth those of the Hebrew nation, Israel, back into covenant faithfulness with the most high God.  His witness among gentiles is that of the covenant faithfulness of the Messiah, and his holy works on the cross of Calvary.  The Father of glory longs to bring Israel back into their promised land as to reveal his glory in abundance among the nations.

The purpose of the Holy Ghost among the gentile nations of the earth is to prepare the way for the return of the jewish messiah, the God of all flesh, in a manner that gives glory towards the redemption of the jewish people; God is working among the 'sea of the nations' presently as to exalt his faithfulness and mercies towards the jewish nation.  The Godhead is the jewish God who is jealous for his people.  Gentile love for Israel is grown through the ministry of the Holy Ghost as to give courage and determination to his gentile churches to minister to the jewish people scattered in the 'sea of the nations'.
