Gentile Hope of Salvation
And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come : and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. HAGGAI 2:7
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth : Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 THESSALONIANS 2:13,14
The gospel of Jesus Christ is temple driven and temple rooted. Jesus Christ is the coming high priest of a rebuilt and restored jewish temple upon the mount of Jerusalem. Belief of this truth will root those who call upon his name in the hope of Israel.
And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers : Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews. THE ACTS 26:6,7
The coming first resurrection of the dead is founded upon a hope for a fulfilled promise God made with Israel. Gentile blessing received from God comes through a restored nation of Israel in the age to come. The 'ministered blessing' comes forth from the King of the Jews reigning in Jerusalem, hence a restored Jewish temple in Jerusalem.
